My Saturday off!

The Mclains over at the house for a visit.

Wow...first Saturday off since I started! lol. I spent the day working on college stuff after sleeping in until 12:30 pm. (I haven't done that in forever...so I was allowed lol) But later Dad and I went to get some Chinese and then The Mclains came over for a nice night of chatting after a 5 hour bike ride!(Sofia's working off some of that baby fat! lol) Sofia woke up to visit and had fun in Kameron's old play chair and rocker. She loved the dinosaurs and farm animals. As far as my life personally goes...school is starting to cool down and a routine is setting in. College is a HUGE deal and it takes HUGE effort to get there so I'm getting so many opinions and pulls in different directions trying to go on the right path. But in the end it's not what everyone else wants me to do..it's what I want to do and what makes me happy for setting up my future. I just want to say thanks to the people who are understanding and helpful to what I'm about to get myself into. It's nice to have a shoulder to lean on.

Sofia and Mommy playing in the Dino chair!

She loved those toys!

This is Sofia watching the LSU game....so she says..."What do you mean LSU lost the fumble?"

A windy weekend!

The after-effects of Hurricane Ike hit up here in Ohio yesterday. The winds were gusting trees over onto cars, roofs were caving in, fires were roaring, telephone poles were in the streets. It was nuts! Personally, dad's house had no damage but many other houses here in the neighborhood had either shingle damage or trees fell in their yards. Missy and Kameron stayed with us for most the day and we tried flying kites but the wind beat them up a bit and either snapped the string or broke the kite itself.

We also celebrated my big sister's birthday on Saturday over at Ihop for a hearty breakfast. Sofia seems to enjoy the atmosphere and I believe that Ross and Tricia enjoyed themselves too. I hope she loves her present as much as I do!

And Saturday night after work, I went over to Missy and Kameron's house and visited for a while. We watched Ice Age and played a couple of games. It was a blast.

A touch of love.

I can't wait to see her grow up...but as for now, I'm happy just how she is.

As far as school goes, I love my college class and I enjoy going. My professor's name is Mr. Sodanno who is a retired teacher, but enjoys it enough to continue teaching for some college classes. I am starting to pick up Calculus at school and my other classes are going fantastically...including AP Government. Thanks guys...hope you have a great week!

My, how she's grown...

I am at the Mclain's house right now, spending time with Sofia for the first time in two weeks! It hurts to see that she has grown so much and know that I missed it all. Well, I'm making the most of my time with her and I know that I won't be able to see her everyday like I did in the summer, but I'll just have to love on her even more when I do see her. Here is the two of us spending some quality Aunt-niece time together...

Ross does this all of the time to her and she loves it!...it's her fishy-fishy face. Ha Ha. She'll smile and kinda giggle whenever you do this.

What a sweet pea. Every time I tried to take a picture, she would lean over and kiss my cheek. (More like lick my cheek, but it is still sweet!)

She's making a move for my cheek again!
This is the first picture hat I have been able to get of Sofia holding her own bottle!

She's growing up so fast!

"Don't you be eye-balling my milk!

Other than that, these next pictures will show you what I've been up to lately. (Other than school.)

Playing my new guitar is a way I relieve my stress from work and school.

And I thought that all of you would get a kick out of seeing me in my uniform for work...so here ya go lol.

Hanging with my friends always helps me to unwind a relax for a great time.

And of course...I've been driving my new car everywhere...and I LOVE it.

My first week of being a Senior!

I just wanted to say "Hi" to all of the people who I love.

I've had an exciting first week of school and I'm ready for the rest of the year. I have four classes and I'm done with high school at 10:30am...(my college classes start later on.) My AP Calculus class is a challenge but I'm just going to work even harder at it...and I love everything else. Driving to school and work has made my life a lot easier and I love the freedom. As a re-cap of how my day is...I've provided a series of pictures to express how I feel during my day!

(Notice how I tend to wake up as the day progresses.)

This is how I feel after I wake up...

This is first bell during AP Government while we talk about politics....( I know politics can be exciting but no so much at 7:25 am.)

This is me during my second bell...AP Calculus. (But the half smile is all smoke and mirrors...because that class is very boring... ha ha)

Third bell, I'm alittle more awake during British Literature.

This is me during my forth bell which is Personal Financing. We talk about money and I know that this will benefit me in my future.

Guess which bell this is.....The one when I get to LEAVE! ha ha.

I do a re-cap of my day when I get home, and then I start homework before I go to work.

This is me hard at work doing my assignments.

This is me at the end of the day. I crash lol.

I hope you enjoyed going through my day as a senior lol. The weekends are completely different but that's OK. ha ha.

My (Big Red) car!

Here it is! I LOVE it. It fits me so well with it's size, features and the way it drives. I couldn't ask for a better car...it's perfect and I can't stop driving it! I officially have my car and now I have a way to take my PSEO college classes. I have a parking pass now at the high school and Dad went to go get my new plates today. I've been so excited and now that it's finally here...I can't believe it! 8/21/08 is the date that I became and senior and got my first car! This has been the best month ever...including my awesome birthday! (Thank you Christy for my amazing gift!) I love my new classes at the high school and I love being able to come home everyday at 10:45 am. I couldn't of asked for a more perfect year! I want to say thank you to my dad for doing all of this for me. I love you so much dad and I appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into getting this car. Every drop of sweat means a lot to me and I'm very grateful. Now that you have set me up for a brighter future..you can be sure that I won't let you down. I love you dad.
Here I am next to my new car!

I'm in my favorite place...the driver's seat!

My set of keys...

Cruising along...

This is me hanging with Krista and our friend Mandy on Friday night after a long 2 days of school.

MY BIRTHDAY AND MY CAR!!!!

(My party pictures wouldn't load for some reason so I apologize for that)
Yes, I had the BEST birthday ever and it wasn't because I had the biggest party or the most expensive gifts....it was because I had the people I love around mean they brought me joy. I woke up today and I felt like I had 2 birthdays. Tricia cooked amazing Crawfish and desserts and everyone had a fantastic time. At least I did! I received the BEST presents this year and I didn't expect any of them. First off....I got to go to the BEST concert of my life which starred The Jonas Brothers, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato!!! (thanks to my Dad). Then I received the most beautiful roses and chocolates from my sister Missy and the most handsome boy in the world!(Kameron) Plus an Itunes gift card for my new Jonas Brothers CD! Then my best friend made me the most meaningful scrapbook I've ever received from a friend. It brought memories back from these 6 fantastic years. Then, I received money from Ron and my Mom as well as my Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw which I appreciate for my car! And out of no where...Ross, Tricia, Sofia and Zoey all gave me a new acoustic guitar that can be hooked up to an amp! Each gift I received had meaning behind it and I LOVE them ALLLLL! So thank you everyone! I'm so excited to get my licence official tomorrow and get my car on the way...so overall I'm glad that I'm having an amazing last week of summer.

Any by the way...............................................................I'm getting a car!!!
We are doing the paperwork tomorrow and I LOVE it! Dad does too.
