Twilight before it's release date!

My friend Danielle works at Lebanon's theatres and their manager is showing Twilight before other theatres across America premiere it, but only for employees. Danielle is allowed one VIP guest and guess who she invited????? ME!!! I get to go see Twilight before America does at Midnight. The show will be playing from 10-11 and yes....Dad said it was OK!!!! On a School night!!! I love him so much. All I have to say is that I am super excited and I'll have to be sure to get in a few extra naps tomorrow.

Twilight....The Best Book EVER!!!

This is a preview of the movie that they made out of the book. I bought the first of the Twilight series on Saturday night because Krista had been pressuring me...as well as SO many others, to read this book. I usually hate reading but with this book...I couldn't put it down. I found myself looking up at the clock and 3 hours has passed with ease and I finished it tonight. I am eager to buy the next three!

I bought this costume for 6 bucks after Halloween and so I thought I'd try it out and share a new workout method with all of you. It gave me MAJOR results. It's finally over...

On top of having to hear about the election everyday, I've had to take a Government class everyday first bell. So personally, I'm glad that the election is finally over. I am not too happy about the results, but all is well and America has spoken. I did come home from work last night to a cookie sitting on the counter top. I can't believ my dad actully bought this, but he bought a cookie with Obama's face on it. lol. Here is a picture. Hope that this amuses you as much as it did me.

Halloween: Senior Dress-up Day.

So, I spent a total of about 4-5 hours on my Energizer Bunny costume...and it was WELL worth it. This is me and an old friend Becca. (People used to always confuse us when we were little).

Her first word!

I was watching Sofia today, and she made a bit of a mess, so I changed her outfit. We were getting re-dressed and like always, she got upset. Then, she starts crying out "mum", "mom" and "Momma". I was in shock. I put her in her highchair since it was dinner time, and since she was so hungry, she did it then too. I don't know if it is possible or not, but I think Sofia just said her first word!

Almost there!

She's been practicing everyday and today I took a video of her trying to crawl. She hasn't figured out the moving your hands part yet...but she will in time. It looks to me like her bottom is getting ahead of her. Ha ha.

Fall is here!

I love the fall...except for the fact that it kinda passed us up in a week. It is too cold to be fall now and it is supposed to snow tonight! Just flurries...but still! I also want to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" to Ross today. Hope your having a fantastic day and that you are enjoying your new toy.

P.S....guess who earned a 100% on her College exam!!!!!

A laugh that melts my heart.

I have no idea why, but Sofia finds me hilarious and likes when I do silly little things. Ha ha. Here's a video of her giggling at me while I was spending my Friday afternoon with her and Tricia.

Lions, Tigers, and a three hour nap! Oh My!

Yeah, so today Sofia and I were both a little extra sleepy today before our weekly aunt-niece nap together. She was falling asleep while eating lunch and so was I. We laid down and fell right asleep around 2 pm and stayed asleep until about 5 pm. I think we are now ready to go! Ha ha.

Exercising 101

Sofia is quite flexible and she shows us just that whenever you lay her on her back. She instantly grabs her toes and does these little "one and two-three and-four" exercises again and again. We try to do them right along side of her , but none of us are that flexible. Ha ha. We are supposed to be teaching HER new things, but she's teaching us something new everyday.

A Girl of Many Faces/The Big News!

Sofia loved to pose for the camera today. Usually Tricia says that my picture-taking-abilities cause Sofia to always look surprised and shocked in her photos. Well, today was different. I received a variety of all sorts of emotions and she worked it. You go girl!

OK, so now the BIG news. I know that most of you know this already but I'm still posting about it because I am extremely excited. My dad just bought me a plane ticket to go to Louisiana on Dec27 - Jan3! I am going back home for the holidays (well, two days after the holidays) but I am going down south to see my Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw, aunts, uncles, and all of my cousins. I LOVE spending time with family and I cannot wait until Christmas. I do have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day but this makes it ALLLL worth it!

Family means more to me than anything.

Hopefully, they will be able to drive over and visit while I am in town! Tamara and I haven't really gotten to talk in a LOONG time.

I miss them so much.

Time with family is time well spent.

I've been having a pretty great weekend so far. I went and bought a majority of my senior costume last night with Dad and Krista, so now I just have to build the rest of it. I watch the TV show called "The Office" all last night and this morning online and then spent the rest of the morning mowing. Dad and I went over to the Mclains for ribs and Missy and Kameron joined us. It was nice just to get away for a while and spending some time together as a family. The pictures up ahead are from babysitting the other day and from tonight. Kam sure loves his cousin. = )

A Day with sunshine...

I've been having an OK week so far. It has been a mix of really great things and really bad things. First off, there was a boy I knew all through my years in Lebanon and whom I got to know in 8Th grade when he rode our bus home. He committed suicide this past weekend and it traumatized our whole town. His name is Jacob and as of right now...my school is still in shock. It's been hard, but everyone is leaning on their neighbors' shoulder for support and its great to see just how supportive my class mates are of everyone around them. We'll miss you Jacob. Peace.
Some great things that have happened...include my homecoming dance. I know I didn't go into much detail last post but I had a BLAST. I didn't think that going with friends would be all that much fun as having a date would be but I had tons of fun anyways. Just because I didn't bring a date doesn't mean I still cant dance lol.
As of right now, I'm spending time with my favorite niece and I'm just relaxing. I look forward to this day each week and I enjoy watching her.(Even when I do it for free lol...but don't tell Tricia haha.)
