Well, today was fun. I woke up early and just hung round the house for a bit and when Krista got back from church, I went over to visit. She made me a lovely bracelet on her ride home from Mexico! This is a picture of her making one below.

Soapy Santa Kameron saying "Ho, Ho, Ho."
While is was over at her house, I noticed that her dad and mom were selling their older Buick for alittle over $2000 and it was in good condition. I had my dad go over and look at it because he himself had noticed it in the street and had asked about it yesterday. He took it for a test drive after inspecting it and asking MANY questions. It is a 97 Buick with over 100,000 miles but most of those were highway miles. It gets 32 miles a gallon which is better then most cars out there right now...and with gas so high...that would be a perk. It has blue leather seat, electric windows, seats and a CD player. The car is VERY roomy and is in great shape. The only concern was that this car might only last me 5 more years. And with my dad being so concerned about researching things before he buys them, he looked in the one place that can't let him down...Consumer Reports magazine...and they didn't rate this car very well at all. Some online car reviews on a couple of websites had decent reviews but some nasty ones about the car's problem history and future problems that it might have. So we decided that this car is great for now...but maybe not after 5 years....when my dad is retired and can't help financially with a new car when I'd need a new one. There are some great deals on Honda's and Toyota's out there but its a matter of time and price, along with quality. This car is a great opportunity that has fallen in my lap at the perfect time....but I think dad and I have some serious thinking to do.
Before all of that happened, Kameron was dropped off for a couple of hours of babysitting while Missy went to a church meeting for a missions trip to New Orleans. We went with dad to go see the car, and when we got back home, we watched Monsters Inc. and ate dinner. Later in the night was the REAL fun....Kameron had a bubble bath in my jacuzzi bathtub with TONS OF BUBBLES. there were sooo many bubbles and guess what???....I have pictures!
Kameron giving a cheesy smile!
