Family

Now that I have moved out and away from the family it is beginning to get harder to visit and take the time out to see everyone. I've been trying to take time aside to see everyone at least once a week and this week was about the kids. I went over for a visit at the Mclains household and Sofia and I spent some time playing to make up for the lost Thursdays. Then, yesterday I went and picked up Mr. Kameron for some Kam and Aunt time. We picked out some toys and grabbed dinner later on. They are both growing up so fast and it will be hard to be away from each of them. Living near Sofia and Kameron doesn't really allow me to really see the growth difference between them and with other family members like Gavin...I see new pictures every so often nd I can see a noticeable difference. I don't like being able to noticed the difference...and with a new baby on the way this is going to be even harder. Travis knows that with each decision we made comes consequences and this is one of them. I'm going to make a full effort to visit as often as possible and I would like to fly up after the baby's birth, plus I know for a fact we'll be here for holidays. I love my family so very much and I'm going to do everything in my power to keep them in my life.

Color Splash

This is Travis before one of his deployments. I love this picture.

Blue-Bans

I bought a new photo application (aka toy box) for my Itouch this week and I love it. As you can see, it allows me to enhance my photos by picking and choosing what colors I would like to embrace. These are some of my favorite photos and it just so happens that they have great color compatibility. Enjoy!

Travis's first phone call as a married man, telling everyone the news.
I know a lot of you have mixed emotions between how you feel about our decisions or about not being able to come to the wedding. Travis and I plan on having a large wedding with each of our families next summer so we can share our joy publicly. We had a wonderful extended weekend in Jacksonville NC and Myrtle Beach enjoying each other's company. I got a small taste of being around the Marine corp. while staying near base and I'm excited to move to NC. Travis and I are very excited to start our lives together and we can't wait to fill each and everyone of you in along each step of the way.

Our Couch

I ended up getting a GREAT deal on this suede/leather sectional. We're picking it up before the big move and it's paid in full as of yesterday. =] The corner can be switched to the other end, making the corner to be on the left or the right side.

My wonderful weekend.

I was fortunate enough to be able to see Travis this forth of July weekend before he went back to North Carolina for four months. It's not for sure when the next time we'll be together is but we'll work something out. Over all we had a blast going to The Newport Aquarium, Kings island with his lil sisters and to Kamerons 4th Birthday party. Kameron is getting so big...I can still remember the first time I held him! I'll have more pictures to come but just thought I'd pop into this thing and update all of you.
